My first photo features an analogous color scheme with dark and light hues of blue, purple, and red purple. My second photos features and complimentary color scheme from the red of the berries and the green of the leaves.
Gorgeous sunset, Katelyn. You caught the sky with just the right range of analogous, plus the tiny pink glow pulls one's eye right into the photo. Dropping or raising your horizon just a tad would make the format more rule-of-thirds and would make the photo even more dynamic.
Great job capturing the different shades of blue and purple in your analogous photo. The small area of pink draws your attention! The red berries in the second picture really stand out with the green leaves.
