PHOTO STORY

This is a story about how ones vision changes after meeting someone who has really impacted you as a person. In the beginning their vision is cloudy. I have manipulated the first two photographs by altering the brightness and contrast to give it a dulled effect. Meeting the person is the most dramatic event which I portrayed through highly contrasting black and white photos. This also symbolizes how this person has changed the others vision to see things in black and white, which is basically a simple yet undeniably truthful view of the world. The image that is upside down is like that to represent that the characters world was turned upside down. The sunburst in the sky is symbolic of a guiding light. In the next few photographs I have manipulated the hue and saturation of the flower to create a rainbow, representing how the characters vision is not only black and white but a prism of all colors, and ultimate possibilities. As you can see the same guiding light is in corners of some of the photographs creating a focal pint and giving the photo a surreal feeling. In other photographs the background colors are blurred, creating a  bokeh, something I really wanted to create in this class and succeeded.
